Roof - Early Shingling and Skylights

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Don began applying the shingles. Then the skylights and Solar Tubes arrived so Don
broke off from the shingling and began working on the light shafts.

This roof is much more than just a rip and re. There are lots of new additions and
repairs to be done.

Larry has essentially abandoned Don at this point. Work, sailing and injuries... And now
the whole family will be going off on vacation for almost three weeks. That's probably okay.
Now Don can work in peace.

Shingling begins. This is the only section where Don and Larry worked together.

So much roof

Don in action...

He was jammin'.

Was hard to keep up with him.

Pre shingle work on the back side of the house.

Painting the vents

Don did this section while Larry was away sailing. Lots and lots of shingles.

He also did this section over the livingroom

And this section with the two new bathroom skylights. These skylights are wonderful.

Skylight over the entryway. This one is trickier because it requires some structural work inside...

...and the relocation of a bunch of attic storage items. It's also getting warmer so work here is hot.

This is nicer than I thought it was going to be.
