Cycling Outings

General cycling pictures taken on mountain and road bike outings.

Don, Jack and I on our way to "Mailbox". I'm a little tired here. Was a bit overdressed for the conditions so was hot too. Hoping that I could get cooled off on the decent.

The tanks are a landmark on Chinquipin. A place to catch your breath. On the other side of Jack is the entrance trail to Dead Camper.

Jack and Don waiting for me to catch up. (Don taking the picture).

Don and I rode up to the cross one morning during his visit. Kinda cold but a gorgeous view.

Scotts Valley from the cross. The cross is on a ridgetop that overlooks an abandoned sand quarry in Scotts Valley. It's a short ride up there from our house.

Jack and me riding through a meadow near the beach. Jack leaving both Don and me in the dust.

Don humoring me by taking a rest. The trail entrance to "R-Trail". This is one of our favorite decents.

Don and me messing around on the trestle at Roaring Camp.

The San Lorenzo River near our house.

My new bike. I am totally unworthy of it.

Jack doing a one footer over a jump on "Mailbox".

Jack and Don taking a food break at the creek on "Mailbox". Jack had just ridden down the rock garden. Don was the only smart one who dismounted and walked down. I crashed after trying to ride down and ended up walking the rest of the way.
