| On 1/24/09 the GGYC Mid Winters crew of Absolute 02 got together for a practice... however the first order of the day was to conduct the official boat renaming ceremony. Abosolute02 was now to become after appeasing the gods... Aboriginal ... as was befitting... Mike (co-owner of the boat) conducted the rituals... It was a solomn affair. Afterwards we began several hours of boat rigging and finally, late in the day went out for a quick practice. As you can see from the below... much of the practice took place after the sun set. |
