| Hey! That boat looks familiar... That's Sail La Vie! The boat we chartered last year. We circled them a couple times as we waited for our turn at Roche Customs... | ...but Roche Customs was extremely busy so we decided to try Friday Harbor instead. I definitely will be doing that again in the future. Passing through customs here was actually a pleasant experience. It's all done on the phone with very pleasant people and no crowds. | |

| Here I am coming back aboard after taking the dinghy out. In Friday harbor, the dinghy becomes very useful as a water taxi. Distances by dinghy are frequently MUCH shorter than distances by foot. | Friday Harbor ferry from Anacortes in the early morning. You can see Mt. Constitution on Orcas in the clouds in the background. | |

| Friday Harbor dock... I hope that this isn't a character flaw but I really like Friday Harbor. It's always one of my favorite stops when going through the San Juan Islands. It's hectic compared to the cruising pace out in the islands but once you make the jump in energy level, it's always a delight | Kerendi in the early morning... we stayed at the Northwest Charters Dock instead of the main Friday Harbor guest docks.... this is much nicer and we WILL be doing this again next time. | |
