First full day in the San Juans
Path of our travels the day we picked up the Stevens and ended up at Mackaye Harbor
Thatcher Pass on the left and Fidalgo Head (where we met Bob, Brenda and Trent) on the right
Close up of Fidalgo Head... dock that we met the Stevens was in the notch in the land that is almost directly in the middle of the picture.

Overview of Mackaye Harbor directly in the middle of the picture

2nd Day

Overview of Mosquito Pass... I had always thought this pass was going to be tough but it actually turned out to be quite easy and even kinda fun... it's also lovely in there
Reid Harbor on Stuart Island

3rd Day
Track for third day with the Stevens that shows our path from Reid Harbor to Blakely Marina... unfortunately something happened to my GPS and I didn't store anymore track data after the Blakely Marina stop
Over head of Obstruction Island and Obstruction Pass (where we went).  You can also see the area around Blakely Marina
Chuckanut Bay... our last night's stay... nice anchorage even though we were sad to be ending our trip
Bellingham

Kerendi at the Washington Park ramp.  Very big boat for such a little dock but we managed   Loadin supplies...

Everybody's aboard and we're headin' out

Bob hangin' out in the cockpit the next morning in Mackaye Harbor

The end of Speiden Island   The boys rowing in Reid Harbor

Definitely a cool concept... a "Dinghy on over" ice cream boat... besides ice cream you can get tee shirts and slushes

Kerendi in Reid Harbor   Not sure why fires were allowed if the fire danger was high

Spencer ferrying everyone back to the boat after our walk   Bob cleaning off his feet

    Bob...

Spencer and Trent   Donna getting breakfast together... looks like pancakes... gotta use up that syrup

This brig was making it's way down the channel next to Speiden Island (in background)

Bob and Brenda

The other end of Speiden   The sleepy little town of Orcas.  Next trip we're gonna explore this one

Fuel stop at Blakely Marina... always a favorite stop even if dealing with the dock, winds and currents is a bit sketchy   Everything is so nice here... we always stop and spend way too much money

Looking back at Blakely and Obstruction Islands   Eagles Rest on Cypress Island

Jack tying bowlines   Bob

Brenda with Cypress Island in background   Seagulls taking a break

The tug that was pulling barge up Rosario Strait   The barge... it was huge!

Another picture of Eagle's Rest...   Looking south towards James Island and Spencer Spit

On the beach at our Chuckanut stop

Donna and Jack playing War   Brenda, Trent and Spencer dinghying back to Kerendi from their beach visit

Comin' back aboard   Our last sunset... unfortunately it was around the point so we couldn't see it

But we could see the reflection off the beach   The beach at Paradise Cove in Chuckanut Bay... we stayed here last year too on our last night

The red bouy in Bellingham   Coast Guard exercises

Poor Jack and his soup... about the only thing he could get past his sore jaw   One of the trains that kept us awake all night

The crew

Mayhem at the Bellingham fuel dock... we waited in line for over an hour   Kerendi back home
